On behalf of the Meetings and Seminar's committee of the SCPS, I would like to welcome you to the 50th Annual Congress of Perfusion from the Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists.
For half a century, the SCPS has been at the forefront of advancing the field of perfusion and cardiovascular technology. Our members have dedicated themselves to improving patient care and outcomes through education, research, and innovation. We have seen remarkable advancements in perfusion techniques and technology, and our society has played a critical role in shaping the future of cardiovascular perfusion.
Our annual meeting is the largest gathering of perfusionists in the UK and is a forum for sharing of novel research, lively debate of current perfusion concepts and the opportunity to catch up with colleagues and friends in the profession and related industry. Our event schedule provides a great learning experience and ensures our esteemed sponsors get maximum exposure to our incoming delegates in our exhibition hall. In addition, we have well-planned breaks spread over the 2-day event.
Ethical MedTech conference vetting system (CVS) application for our 2024 SCPS AGM is now available and compliant. The CVS is a centralised decision-making system that encourages transparency and consistency in medical education events. Updates coming soon.
Attendees attending our 2024 AGM will receive 8 CPE points accredited by the College Of Clinical Perfusion Scientists Of Great Britain And Ireland (CCPS). Speakers receive an additional 5 CPE points.

Our website enjoys excellent traffic from the UK and globally. Within 4 years since its inception, our new cutting edge website now ranks on the 1st page of google for numerous search keywords. The website has shown as a highlighted search result by Google several times. Over 9000+ visitors from the UK visited our website last year alone.
Our event budget is used ethically and appropriately to ensure all attendees receive the best possible value. The pie-chart below provides a ‘birds-eye’ view of our congress event expenses.
2024 SCPS Platinum and Gold sponsors will have bespoke web pages designed to include a header image, text, videos and pdf insertion options. In addition, we have a sample page that goes over specifics, including submission (click/touch button below).
2024 SCPS Silver and Bronze sponsors will have promo cards, a negative logo (white) version of the logo, 425 characters of text and a link to the appropriate company website. Use the button below to submit information.
To serve our sponsors and event attendees better, we have moved our sponsors' promo page with links to bespoke pages and promo cards to a separate page. You can view our current 2022 sponsors here. It is worth reiterating that for 2023 the bespoke pages will only be available for Platinum and Gold sponsors.
2024 Platinum sponsors will be able to provide a 2 hour workshop where as our Gold sponsors will be able to provide a 1 hour workshop. 2024 Workshops to be confirmed.
Our delegate event tote bag is ideal for inclusion of sponsor marketing material and personal belongings. Sponsors should contact our admin by clicking button below to discuss specifics.
Platinum and Gold sponsors will be invited to a 15 minutes Zoom video recording of relevant products/services. We will set up recording sessions for this purpose. Submitted speaker photos will be photoshopped for a professional look (guidance is available on our dedicated page below). Video posters, templates, and various artworks will be available to be showcased both in our members' area and the bespoke sponsor pages. Post-editing video time will be 2-3 weeks after our 2024 event.
Our new cutting-edge events website aims to provide the best user experience possible for our sponsors. Targeted navigation allows for improved association with the content. We welcome you to explore our informative web pages.
Event sponsors will have their company logos printed on our roller banners located in prominent areas during the event. As the printing of the banners will be done by 01 October 2024, we encourage sponsors to finalise arrangements in good time.
All our sponsors will be recognised during the welcome speech. Our 2024 videos will also have an outro animation of our sponsor logos.
Invited Platinum and Gold Sponsors will deliver talks during our 2-day event. In addition, we have created a user-friendly abstracts submission guidance page for this purpose.
